    Hi,

I imported the News Pro Demo content and was expecting it to look like the demo.

I don't see anywhere where the ad banners are managed or show up.

Does anyone know how they are accomplishing that specifically?

    I am having similar issue.

I installed locally and I am using Instant WordPress

When I click Visit site, Customize or Live Preview, it defaults to Instant WordPress, instead of news pro Theme \

I have screenshot to show what I am talking about, but it seems, you can't upload any images here:(

    This is what I did.

    Step 1
Installed the Genesis framework and activated

    Step 2
Installed News Pro child Theme and activated

    Step 2.
    Imported

    XML file

    Thanks

Doesn't sound similar to me. You're using Instant WordPress and working locally.

Not sure this will help, but there are several tutorials out there on how to set up this theme, and at least one of them says something about "ad banners"....for example, this one:

Thanks for the info....looks like the author is an expert in WordPress web design:-)

I am just beginner, but should be able to edit the demo per my design/needs. The problem is when you load this theme, it doesn't install as shown in the Demo.

    Thanks

The theme won't look like the demo until you follow each step of the set up instructions, and add content to widgets etc...
