Hi, my first posts here and i'm struggling a little.

i am new to genesis and i am trying to find my feet with it, i am no programmer an didnt quite realise how much deeper you go when using these themes...but I have come this far, no turning back now.

Anyway, i am using the generate theme and what i want to do is add a video into my home page, i need to add a 100% wide background for the video area and embed the video with a graphic to the left, i would like to keep the responsiveness.

i am not sure i I can use the responsive slider and have it not slide or what my best way forward the way to do this is.Do i need to get into hooks before te content ...my heads battered with all this!

I am looking for something like this site uses here

I think I've replied to a simple question about your site in a different thread. Again if you could provide a link to your site I'd be happy to take a look.
