I'm creating my blog and I set up the blog template page. Now when I try to add a new blog post there is no way to tell it to put posts in the /blog/ directory.

    I just get domain.com/post-name/

    I want domain.com/blog/post-name/

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Justin

There is no blog directory in a standard WordPress setup. WordPress stores all of its content in a database and renders it at run time. If you want to add /blog/ to your post urls, create a blog category and assign your posts to it. Then save permalinks to include the category.
