    I changed my Atmosphere Template Pro theme...a lot.

    My header navigation menu isn't responding great.

    I am a beginner and had to recode the navigation menu to respond.

    I used the studiopress.com/responsive tool. I styled it so it looks great at each of those resolutions. But outside of those resolutions, the navigation menu drops an inch / a line down the screen.

    Is there a better way to code my navigation menu for response?

    You have added widths into your menu at different resolutions. You should control the width by reducing the padding on the a tags, so that your menu stays within the 38px height of the header.

    I removed a lot of the not so good code.

    I don't think I fully grasp the concept however. Would you be able to show me an example
