I have a bilingual site (English and Russian). I have two versions of every page, one in each language. Along with that I have custom sidebars to match the language. Thus I need a way to make two search boxes and customize the text inside "Search this site" in English in one instance, and the Russian translation in the other instance.

    How?

    Thx.

Do you really need two of everything to accommodate a different language? You can add a translation plugin that will convert the entire website to Russian which might be a lot easier for you.

Translation plugins may work for webmasters who don't know the other languages, but it's not an ideal solution. Auto translation never works as well as human translation. Auto-translate often can't distinguish proper meanings or make intelligible equivalents.

I understand. Just thought I would make that suggestion.
