I need to remove the dates from the posts. For instance,
    http://www.jimcockrum.com/blog/2015/08/05/getting-suspended-on-amazon-its-not-the-end-of-the-world/

I have Genesis Simple Edits installed and have removed the [post_date]

Any idea how to get this fixed?

    Still cannot get this fixed.

I've reinstalled the Magazine Pro theme and Genesis Simple Edits.

The date remains on the posts.

Is there php code I can put on the functions page to override the date on the posts?

    Hi,

    I cannot reproduce this.
Did you move the post meta or are you using another plugin that might be capable of changing this?

The code snippets are here: https://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-info/
but you have to deactivate simple edits for them to work.

I can't reproduce it either. I have a production site with Magazine Pro and Simple Edits. If I remove the date in Simple Edits, it comes right off the post.

Very odd, but you can open up your functions file in your code editor, and with ftp add the code chunk in the second gist: https://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-info/
