    Hi everyone, I am using the "Fabric8ted" theme and I want to to use the "Category Grid View Gallery" plugin in a category template so that all of my category listings come out with a grid view for my readers 🙂 I know how to write the tag to insert into the template file but since the theme does not come with a category template I have to create one from scratch and I cannot tell where to insert the code for each category.  can you help?  Here is the code for the home.php page

    					 jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    						if (jQuery(".slide-excerpt").length > 0) {
    							jQuery(".flex-control-nav").addClass("nav-pos-excerpt");
    						}
    					});

    				 '',
    		) );

    		genesis_widget_area( 'home-top', array(
    			'before' => '',
    		) );

    		genesis_widget_area( 'home-cta', array(
    			'before' => '',
    		) );

    		genesis_widget_area( 'home-middle', array(
    			'before' => '',
    		) );

    		genesis_widget_area( 'home-twitter', array(
    			'before' => '',
    		) );

    		genesis_widget_area( 'home-bottom', array(
    			'before' => '',
    		) );

    	}

    }

    genesis();

    I usually try to get themes that have a category page but this time...

    Instead of that template, I would use this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-grid-loop/ You can just tell it to make you categories a grid =).

    Also, editing the category loop to be a grid is a bit more complicated: You can view this post for reference: http://surefirewebservices.com/genesis-framework/genesis-grid-style-page-template-with-custom-post-type It's a bit more complex dealing with custom post types, but it's good for research.

    Also check out Bill Ericksons Grid Loop post: http://www.billerickson.net/a-better-and-easier-grid-loop/ It's a lot more code but it's very flexible and works great!
