    Our website is: http://livelovepasta.com/

We have the Simple Social Icons plugin that is integrated into our Genesis theme displayed to the right of our customized header. If you hover over the pink colored social icons right now all you will see is they change color.

I'm looking for help in how to accomplish the effect that redbook has when you hover over their social icons, see: http://www.redbookmag.com/

I found a tutorial on it but I'm not sure how to take the info contained within the tutorial and make it work for what I already have on the site with the Simple Social Icons plugin, see tutorial here: http://tutorial.world.edu/website-design/how-to-create-css-social-media-button-tooltip-hover-effect/

If you could please help me out that would be awesome and thank you in advance! I think the tooltip hover effect on these social media icons would be a great call to action and/or will increase subscribership.
