I am working on a new blog design and trying to make the 2nd row of navigation go below the header image and have "buttons" around them like you see here.

I'm not trying to put the nav/buttons inside a box that wraps around the content area and sidebar...I'm just looking to move the navigation below the header and the other navigation above the header (to the header is in between the top and bottom navigation) and have the buttons show up around the bottom navigation menu.

    Thanks for your help!

What is the URL of your site?

I could be off on what it is that you are actually trying to accomplish - but from what it sounds like, you may want to try adding a widget area (http://designsbynickthegeek.com/tutorials/add-widgeted-sidebar) to the area you you want the buttons then use the Genesis Tabs Plugin (http://www.studiopress.com/plugins/genesis-tabs) to create the 'buttons' you are looking for.

If I'm off base, you might nee Nick The Geek to help you out and offer alternative solutions.

Thanks for the help, but I'm not trying to add a widget area. I'm just trying to move the navigation of the theme below the header and put a box around the titles in the navigation..if that makes sense.
