Hey there. I'm trying to implement a transition delay on my header's sub navigation menus, so that the menu doesn't immediately disappear when the mouse moves off. Here's an example of what I mean: http://www.whitehouse.gov/

I found a few demonstrations online that only use CSS, and from those I patched together this code:

    http://codepen.io/anon/pen/WbzZvE

Alas, I cannot get it to work with my menu. Using what I think are the appropriate classes/ids (I've tried several variations within .genesis-nav-menu), I am able to manipulate the hover-on effect but nothing happens to the hover-off.

Unfortunately, the site I'm working on isn't public so I can't provide a link to it. However, I'm using the Education Pro theme and as of now my menu is pretty equal to the right-aligned one in the demo: http://demo.studiopress.com/education/

Anybody have any ideas about what the problem could be? My only thoughts are that I'm targeting an incorrect class or that I'm not seeing something in the preexisting code that is preventing my mods from working.

Thanks in advance for any help,
    Rob
