    Hello Folks,

I'm a technical guy but not that well versed in WordPress themes. I'm hoping you guys can help me get started and then I can pretty much take it from there.

I have narrowed down my choices to two: Executive Pro and Enterprise Pro, but I'm willing to consider another if you guys can recommend one. I like the page layouts of Executive Pro better, but the front page of Enterprise Pro better. For Executive Pro, I'm not quite sure I like the colored rectangles that cover the menu elements, but maybe it will grow on me. However, I do like the scrolling image area by the menu. We would use this to advertise upcoming events.

    Some sites I like:
https://issa-oc.org/ - this is a custom theme based on Genesis. I like how the header area stays put on scrolling and the logo resizes.
http://phoenix.issa.org/ - while this site is not fantastic, I think I prefer that the menu does not bleed to the edges like in Enterprise Pro

Which one would be easiest to start with and then customize?

    Thank you very much.

They are both pretty simplistic themes. I've used both on customer sites. Most of what you'll be doing is changing CSS.
