    Hello!

    Currently I do have some concerns regarding the SEO structure in Genesis themes. Today I checked the source code of the Parallax Pro theme and identified that there are multiple h1 headlines. From my understanding there should be only one h1 headline on a page and/or blog post. Maybe someone could explain best practices for handling those headlines. Until now I thought the following concept is right. Or I am wrong?

    Page and homepage
    h1 = site title
    h2 = site description
    h3, h4, h5…headlines of content

    blog page
    h1 = blog title or site title?
    As they are named different I could use two h1? site-title vs. entry-title

    Looking forward to your thoughts.

    There should be multiple H1 tags if the site is HTML5. Here is what Yoast has to say on the matter: https://yoast.com/headings-use/
