I just installed Design Palette Pro and found out that I'm on an old version of Eleven40, not Pro. I installed and activated Pro, but it made a mess of things so I went back to the prior version. I can't use DPP with it tho. Are there directions to make the transition?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Cobaltsapps has an online converter for the css:

Genesis XHTML To HTML5 CSS Converter

If you made changes to the php, you'd have to change the hooks used to the new HTML5 hooks.
Here is a comparison of old and new hook names:

    Hi Christoph,
Thank you! I don't think I made any changes to the PHP, so all I probably need to do is run tte converter and I can upgrade to Eleven40 Pro without my site becoming a mess? I know you can't guarantee anything, of course. Strange things happen all the time.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    you are welcome.

Yes, just give the converter a try.
You might have to adjust a few values (widths, margins, or paddings)
If I remember correctly, the secondary navigation was moved to the footer in the Pro version.
You might have to reposition that in the functions.php.
