    Hello,
I'm fiddling around for the first time in Sample Theme, and I'd like to move the page display up further, or maybe that would be reducing the site/title area? Or would that mess up the header right widget where I have social icons? (In that case I can move them to the footer.)

Also, any pointers as to how to add Home Middle Widgets? I'd like the kind where I can input text, not featured page or post.

    Thanks!

    jean

OK, I adjusted the .site-header .wrap with a max height of 0. It worked, but I'd like to know if that was the correct way to do it. I also move the header widget social icons to the footer. Now I'll try moving them back up to see if it affects the spacing.
