    Hi.
    I am using Monocrome Pro, in your footer you only have one area to put content but I need 4 columns.
    I would like to create those 4 columns in the footer to be able to add content with the widget.
    how can I do it?

    You can change the number of footer widgets by using this code:

    //* Add support for 4-column footer widgets
    add_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets', 4 );

    You'll have to figure out the CSS yourself. While you'll have 4 footer widget areas, the CSS in the theme isn't setup for 4 widget areas and will need adjustment.

    Alternative to what Victor has offered you which means you will need to add the CSS to the 4 newly created widgets - you can keep the full width widget and use Genesis Widget Column Classes - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-widget-column-classes/ to display four widgets across. Downside is that you wouldn't have the flexibility to add two widgets inside say Footer Widget 1.

    Hi, I added the code and can’t see the widget areas in the Widget menu. I added the code to functions.php in Monochrome Pro directory.

    Note: Before adding the code I do not see any widget area for the footer, only for before footer CTA section.

    I see some Remove actions, I commented the three but still can’t see the footer widgets.

    Thanks in advance for your help.
