Many genesis themes such as Digital Pro and Infinity Pro have button links to different widget areas on the front page using '#front-page-1' etc.

Can something similar be achieved in the Monochrome Pro theme? I want to add a button in Widget Area 1 which takes the user to Widget Area 2 or 3.

    Thanks.

You are referring to "page jumps" and you can do that with any theme. Just follow the directions here.

Thanks for the quick response AnitaC.

I tried using the following code in the first widget area.

    <a href="#front-page-2">Front Page 2</a>

The above code works for most genesis themes but not for Monochrome?

So what about the Anchor? Did you place the anchor code in Front Page 2 where you want it to go?

    <a name="unique-identifier">See?</a>

Yes I placed the suggested codes in Front Page 1 and 2 but nothing happens when I click on the link in Front Page 1.

The test site is on my local host, sorry I can't give you a link to the website.

I would say go to the docs in StudioPress and review how the page jump links are working for those two themes. That should point you in the right direction. If they are still now working then check out this blog post from Sridhar.
