Is there a filter to modify Featured Posts Widget output?

Would like to add a rel='' attribute to the < a href > tag to open featured post content in a lightbox.

Could always modify the plugin to add a widget entry field for this purpose, but would prefer not to.

    Thanks in advance!

Another method: use jQuery and inject the rel attribute and its value.

Thanks for this suggestion. Already using Custom Featured Post Widget but am worried about losing my changes if plugin is updated.

Does the plugin have any filters?
