    2 questions:

    how can I decrease the padding (is that what it's called?) on the top and bottom of the black spaces only (the 2 black spaces where I have the pics and quotes I think it's technically the "about me" box and the "services blocks")

    Second
    How can I increase the font size on the front page portfolio gallery block. Where it says "dogs" "Not Dogs", etc

    Thanks in advance!

    so for the font size you want to add this to the bottom of your stylesheet

    .featuredpost h2 a {
               font-size:2.125rem;
    }

    and change the font to whatever you need it to be, there will be a pixel value to change also.

    For the padding, for what it's worth, i'd say it looks fine as it is. To change it you need to find this..

    #about,
    #services {
            padding: 4rem;
    }

    and change to the value you need. Again, you will also need to change the px value, but i don't see that on my end.

    I love helping creative entrepreneurs build epic things with WP & Genesis.
