Hi there, I have asked this question before and have yet to receive a response. I am working with Modern Portfolio Pro, and I would like the images in the Portfolio section to just open up a larger image not go to the post page they are attached to.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

    Thank you!

I haven't seen this done before which is probably why you haven't received a solution. Someone would need to write the custom code to do what you want which is doable but would require some time to work out.

The easiest way to do this would be to add the images to a text widget manually rather than use the Genesis Featured Posts widget. You could also use the native gallery with 3 columns so they open to the full image.

Thanks so much for the input, I really appreciate it! One question, and I apologize if this is ridiculous... but when you say "native gallery", what exactly are you referring to?

    Thank you!

Click > Add Media > Create Gallery and select your images from your Media Library or Upload new ones.

Create your gallery and add the short code to a text widget.

Then add support for short codes in widgets using Php code in your functions file.
