Modern Portfolio Pro – Change Widget Background Colour

I use two widgets on the front page - they have a black background - Widgets About and Services.

Unfortunately when this theme shows in a mobile device it looks very dark and funeral like. Is there a way to change the black colour to a lighter colour?

Hi,

you can change the background-color in the style.css around line 1219:

#about, #services {
    background-color: #222;
    color: #FFF;
    font-size: 2rem;
    padding: 6rem 0px 3.6rem;
}

hmm... that URL doesn't show Modern Portfolio

Are you using any caching plugin, hosting cache, cloudfare or minification plugin?
You'd have to clear the cache, re-minify the stylesheet before any changes would show.
(or even better, deactivate them while developing)

Sorry, I was playing about with different themes but I have changed it back now to Modern Portfolio. I use cloudflare and now that I have switched on development mode and cleared my cache it works!

Thanks for highlighting my issue with using cloudflare.
