    Hi All,

    I'm getting very frustrated with a simple problem in Modern Portfolio.

    I have a custom menu in the header which is pushing my title onto a new line.

    Also I want to increase the size of the title.

    Yes I've tried to solve it with Firebug.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Cheers.

    You will need to increase the width of the title area and decrease the width of the header right widget area.

    The CSS for this is on your child themes style.css file.

    #header .widget-area {
    	width: 680px;
    }

    #title-area {
    	width: 400px;
    }

    Total = 1080px

    Better to paste this CSS code at the end of the file and not modify the default code.

    This way your mods are easier to find and manage.

    Hi Brad,

    Is this what you meant?

    #title-area {
    width: 400px;
    }
    #content,
    #header .widget-area,
    #services .alignleft {
    width: 680px;
    }

    That fixed the header area, but changed the width of the sidebar as well, perhaps because the widget-area you referred to is in the #content area.

    I tried adding the width: 680px; on various lines but no success .

    This is the original code -

    #title-area {
    width: 29.629629629%; /* 320px / 1080px */
    }

    #content,
    #header .widget-area,
    #services .alignleft {
    width: 64.814814814%; /* 700px / 1080px */
    }

    No need to change any code. http://www.studiopress.community/topic/modern-portfolio-header/#post-59165

    Simply paste the code i supplied at the end of the file. I test all code and it works.

    Wow.

    I didn't know you could do that.

    Yes, it works as you say.

    Thanks a bunch Brad,

    Cheers!
