    Sorry, I have a bunch of questions but I am going to create new thread for each.

    I've been playing around with my site css all day and trying to get all the funky stuff out.

    One of the things that I am dealing with is my drop down menus from the navigation (which I am using the header widget for, if that makes a difference) is see through when hovered over. I have NO clue why. It was like this when I first installed the theme.

    I looked for opacity in my style sheet and it appeared 2 times (they happened to be in a row, too)

    #blog img,
    #portfolio img {
    	margin-bottom: 24px;
    	margin-bottom: 1.5rem;
    	opacity: 0.8;
    }

    #blog img:hover,
    #portfolio img:hover {
    	opacity: 1;
    }

    I tried changing both and neither seem to make that particular part change. I tried to discover what it is on firebug but also don't see that.

    Is there any way to change this?

    I found it! Just in case anyone else is silly like me it was line 900. Change "none" to "white"

    #header .genesis-nav-menu li a:hover {
    	background: white;
    }
