I currently have Modern Blogger Pro installed. I would like a different color scheme for my navigation menu. I actually want the colors included in the "Ectoplasm" scheme of "personal profile options". I'd like the purple to the main navigation, green to be the hover color, and white the text color. I've looked up info online and on YouTube at changing the stylesheet in style.css, but I've not be able to figure it out.

Also, how do I add social media buttons like Facebook and Twitter to my header right side? I want visitors to be able to click the button and be taken to my Facebook page in a new tab/window.

Hope I've explained myself clear enough. Thanks in advance for your help.

Use Firebug to identify the components you want to change, then open up your stylesheet in a text editor (like NotePad, or TextPad), and do a search and replace.

The Modern Blogger Pro theme uses the Simple Social Icons Plugin for the social media buttons.

If you need additional assistance, go ahead and submit a support ticket through the Pretty Darn Cute Design site, and I will assist you over there.

I am trying to get my Modern BLogger Pro site ready and I don't see the option for those social media buttons? Do I need to install the Simple Social Icons myself?

Yes - any plugins for the theme need to be installed by you. Use the Simple Social icons plugin.

@mcnater - following the set-up instructions for the theme, you will want to use the Genesis Responsive Slider.

That hasn't been updated in over 2 years though. Is that really still the recommended one?

Alright thanks. Just seemed odd to have the big warning staring you in the face on the plugin page.
