Tagged: responsive images
I uploaded some images on my mobile responsive website. When I checked them on my real mobile phone (iPhone 5s) they are not responsive. Here is the link to the post.
Could anyone please let me know what was wrong?
Yes, i see that.
Might be a good idea to update to a new HTML 5 Pro theme as your current theme is fairly old and technology changes fast.
Thanks @braddalton I own Lifestyle Pro for my other website. Will be thinking of using it for this site, maybe for a new look.
By the way, I also asked help desk re this issue and the answer was:
"Unfortunately, WordPress images with captions are not responsive. This is an issue with the core WordPress software, not Genesis or the Balance theme.
You can remove the image caption and insert it as text below the image instead. The images should then be responsive."
I removed the caption and all fixed! They are now responsive!
I'm sharing the answer in case someone has the same problem.
We encountered a similar problem using Genesis Parallax Pro. Multi-device and multi-browser tests were really good EXCEPT for displaying properly on iPad.
