I bought lifestyle because I found a couple tutorials showing how to make a custom header. Sadly it isn't working for me. It crops weird at full size and at various points in the mobile scaling http://www.bluffsedge.net/ (plus the colored box is still there, but figure that's an easier fix than the scaling vs cropping issue). I'm also curious on where to find good background images ideal for repeating, just like the kristihyland site.

Anyone know of (or create) a tutorial or have a guide for me to help fix the issue? I can dabble in editing CSS and stuff, but don't really always understand it well. (but trying to learn this stuff as I can't ever seem to be satisfied with the themes I find as-is)

I did find a couple examples where it seems to work well
http://kristihyland.com/ (I especially like how this one switches to just the logo, but guessing that's beyond my skills)

But this one seems to crop similar to mine http://sandraheskaking.com/

Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working. I'll keep trouble shooting, but open to other tutorials or ideas in the meantime 🙂
