Hope to get some help on an issue I haven't been able to solve.

After importing from an old blog into a new one, I see that some post photos that display fine in the posts do not display on the blog archive page with related excerpts. They are not "featured images, as the client had never done that before. They do have the correct URLs and are in the new Uploads folder.

My understanding is that if there is no featured image assigned, WP will use the first photo it finds in the post to display on the blog page alongside excerpts. Is there a way I can make this happen post-import? I regenerated thumbnails but it didn't seem to change anything.

    I am using Executive Pro.

    Thank you in advance.

    Jean
