I've chased this around a bit, and I'm stumped. I've got a custom menu in the header right widget, as it shows in the theme setup instructions. Looks fine on desktop. On mobile, what I get is the hamburger menu, with the top level items wrapped below that. Some of those top level items have child page dropdowns, which work fine on desktop but not at all for mobile. I've tried cloning in mobile navigation from another theme with no success. Usually, this works fine for me - find what I like and copy it over to whatever theme. But on this one, I'm getting nowhere fast. Does anybody have a solution for this that works?

Mobile responsive WordPress themes need navigation menus that are also mobile responsive, so that they can be used easily on devices with small screens. This custom Genesis WordPress theme uses a technique that hides the normal navigation with a mobile menu button on smartphones.

Thanks for the reply Shirley, but that's not really what's going on. It's hard to explain. On mobile, I see the hamburger for mobile menu, but the menu isn't mobile responsive. The dropdowns don't show up like they do on other Genesis child themes, and the top level items wrap to two rows. The child dropdowns aren't reachable at all. This menu is not going responsive, even though the hamburger is there and you have to click it to see the menu at all. That's strange certainly and certainly not what I'd like to see!

If you look at the mobile demo for Minimum, that's exactly what I'm seeing. Viewed on desktop, hovering over the top level items that have dropdowns causes them to show. That's not going to work on a mobile device! I need to have the top level items with dropdowns show the down arrow to click and open the dropdowns.

I got this done, so I'll mark it as resolved.
