I wonder which theme to work with and need expert advice.

I like the way the original Minimum theme is able to show a progressive full width image. I like the way the original Minimum theme shows menu items also on mobile screens: What I mean is that there is no symbol for a menu that then must be expanded for to see the menu on small screens in Minimum (I have very few menu items). I like that the Minimum head part (site title and menu) of the page is not fixed as in Minimum Pro, but dissapears as I scroll down the page.

I have been able to convert the "old" Minimum theme to html5 using the CobaltApps Genesis XHTML To HTML5 CSS Converter. I don't seem to have lost anything in this conversion, except of maybe some small code in the footer (before html5 the footer text was aligned right on big screens and became centered on small ones, but after html5 it stays aligned to the left). So I think I'm future proof regarding html5.

Now I wonder: Would it be worth the effort to modify the Minimum Pro so that it in the aspects above mentioned behaves like the older Minimum theme? Are there any other parts of the code for the Minimum Pro that are so much better than of the old Minimum, so that I in the future would benefit to base my project on the more modern Minimum Pro?

    Regards,

Since you don't want mobile menu and already converted old minimum to html5 - I guess, stick with old one (which has been updated to html5).
