    Hello there

    I made a lay-out how I want my new website, (www.ahvenema.nl/aaversie2) so I am busy changing the metro theme to the lay-out looks.
    First of all, I am wondering how I can make the header and the menu to touch the sides, so spread to the left and ride. I want the header to have a white background so that will be easy I gues.
    But I want to give the menu a background if that’s possible, as you can see in my lay-out the menu has 2 borders on the top and bottom.

    Hopefully someone can help me out here.
