    Hi,

I'm trying to fix the prioritize visible content issue on Google Speed Test and I am using a two column layout but it says:

68.5KiB of the HTML response was required to render the above-the-fold content. This requires 3 network round-trips. Prioritize the above-the-fold content so that it can be rendered with only the first 2 round-trips' worth of HTML.

None of the final above-the-fold content could be rendered with the HTML delivered within 2 round-trips.

Can you tell me what I can do to fix this without the use of a plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for the link but I'm getting nowhere with this. I had tried what the information on the page suggested but it seems to have made no difference. Can you tell me where I'm supposed to move the content to so that it is loaded before the sidebar?

    Thanks.

    Hi there

google pagespeed is just a there to suggest for what you "can" do if you like, it is not meant to govern how we should built websites

we must take into account the practicality of what is suggests

for example, if you run the Parallax Pro theme through the speed test, it will give an error for mobiles

this does not mean there is an issue with the theme, the javascript that the pagespeed test is pointing out is a necessary part of the themes functionally, so we scrap that suggestion from google.

I can't suggest what you should do with your content, you would need to pursue the appropriate google forums for that as it isn't a direct theme issue.

i think google is probably trying to tell you that there is too much going on above the fold

to much info and sliders all together.
