    Hi

    My secondary menu has the same hover effect as my primary menu.
    I tried everything in style but my primary menu keeps changing as well.

    Is it possible to give the Secondary menu (top) a different effect ?

    I don't see two menus. Did you figure this out?

    The secondary menu is on top, the grey bar. The menu items are on the right (hard to see because of colors).

    You probably just need to be more specific in your css. For example..

    .genesis-nav-menu a:hover {
               color: #fff;
    }

    Will target both menus, where as..

    .nav-secondary .genesis-nav-menu a:hover {
               color: #fff;
    }

    will only target the secondary menu.

    What David said works for the secondary menu now that I can see it ;).

    You can add this to the end of your style.css file and change the hex to your liking:

    .nav-secondary .genesis-nav-menu a:hover {
    	background: #222;
            color: #ff0000;
    }
