    Hello,
    I'm trying to wok on the custom header for metro-pro theme and get a mobile-responsive version using these instructions:
    http://sridharkatakam.com/add-responsive-header-image-metro-pro/ and the header gets added fine but making it mobile responsive not so much. I'm missing something! Suggestions would be appreciated.

    Can you post a link to your site? Without being able to see what's happening, I'm not sure how to help you troubleshoot.

    It looks like the header is responsive... It may not look the way you want it to (which is fixable with CSS) but it's definitely shrinking down for mobile. Have you tried the Genesis Responsive Header plugin? That gives you a little more control over the image as far as sizing.

    You are right - I should have been clearer. It is resizing which is great but making it so small on my iPhone you can barely read it. With the method you have posted I have been able to get it to not go so small and keep the height to width ratio work nicely but they were in different themes. Thinking I need to go to a different header method to keep it from going so small.

    I did try Nick's plugin first thing but it wouldn't size it correctly either, even with the images set for the different widths. I'm finding that the plugin doesn't work in most of the newer -pro versions of the themes unfortunately.
