    Hello

    I'm struggling to change the background "image area" of Metro. I've managed to change the content background color easily.

    Is there a custom function to delete that's overriding my background?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    I your admin panel, under appearance > background.

    At the very bottom is "Background Color" with a color picker. It looks like you've already removed the background image, so that should be all you need.

    Unfortunately, I've tried that with no success. Anything else?

    You can add it to your child-theme style.css file.

    Looks like your body style is around line 602. You can add your background color there, using whatever hex color you need;

    body {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #CCCCCC;
    font-weight: 300;
    }

    Just add the background part, and whatever color you need (replacing the CCCCCC).

    Worked perfectly 🙂 Thanks Tony. I've bookmarked your site for a future project outside my scope
