I site I'm rebuilding contains many pages consisting of a series of links/pdfs. The page below is representative.

I'd like to get these more compact, into a drop/list/select box/button. A widget with shortcodes would be perfect to deal with the multiple pages, but the widgets I've found seem to be methods of changing a pre-existing dropdown menu, not adding a mini-menu to the center of a page.

I am find working with css. I am not fine working in functions.php.

Using a locally hosted child theme of genesis sample.

    Suggestions?

You could use jQuery to add a drop down toggle.
