    Hello

    I have changed the background colour in the theme to white and therefore I would like the menu background colour to also be white - is there a way of doing that?

    Also when I change the colour for the theme as a whole - for example to purple I thought this was meant to make the hover colour over the menu purple but it is white currently.

    The site is here: http://www.sarahmatyjasik.com/

    Many thanks, Alison

    Hello, I have managed to figure this out and changed the background colour of the menu to white - Is it possible to change the colour of the text when you hover over it?

    If you don't already use it, I recommend getting Firebug to help you with these types of CSS questions.

    For the color of the text when hovering over the primary navigation, update this section of your stylesheet:

    .genesis-nav-menu li:hover,
    .genesis-nav-menu a:hover {
    	background-color: #fff;
    	color: #666;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }

    Thanks so much - what do you need to change if you want to change the actual text colour - not the hover colour. So the colour of the header menu items themselves?
