    Hi all,

I am using the Generate Pro theme, and would like to use my "About" page with the Landing page template. However, I would like this page to also have the menu bar as for the other pages.

I know I could access the Landing page template file in my FTP, and remove the code line that removes the menu bar, but I don't want ALL landing pages to have menu bar, just this specific about page.

Is there a way to do this?

    Many thanks for the help!

I would copy the file and rename it something like about_landing.php.

You'll also need to change the template name located near the top of the file to something like About Landing Page

Then you can modify the code in the file and still use the original page_landing.php template on other pages

Hi Brad, thanks a lot for your quick response.

I am new to wordpress so still learning a lot. I think I located the "landing page" template file under wp-content/themes/generate-pro. The file is called "page_landing.php", I've done what you said, and uploaded the new file in the same destination, but I can't seem to see it as an option on the Page settings > Page attributes > Template.

    Am I missing something there?

    Thanks again!

You need to change the name of the template in the comment area at the top of the page.
