    I am trying to get my right header widget to disappear as my screen size shrinks. Right now I am using

    @media
    screen and (max-width: 600px) {
    ‪#‎header‬-right {
    display: none;
    }
    in my code. I only want it to be based on screen size and not mobile/tablet traffic. Anyone have ideas why that's not working?

    I have also tried #textwidget and #text-21 -- as I can't figure out what ID to put in...

    My site is http://www.pullingcurls.com

    Try this class which you can see in your style sheet:

    .site-header .widget-area

    Nope -- I tried it, it now reads like this:

    @media
    (max-width: 800px) {
    .site-header .widget-area { display: none; !important}
    }

    Is it possible something is overriding it somehow?

    The class i provided is the correct class for your header right widget area.

    Tested and works but your code is wrong and you also have other CSS you have added which you need to cleanup.

    You mean, that's what works on your site? Or, it's working on mine (and I somehow can't see it)?

    Do you have the right code, and care to give me a hint on the CSS clean-up?
