Hi,

I use quiet a lot of icons on my site. I dont want all of them to display on the smallest mobile devices.

1) Is that possible? and how?

Yes, it is possible. Use media queries and then display none for all of the icons.
such as

@media screen and (max-width: 300px) {
.icon-class{
display: none;
}
}

The max-width size will depend on the screen size of the mobile device. Find out from http://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/media-queries-for-standard-devices/

I wrote "I use icons" but I make images from them.

I tried your example but that did not work out. (ofcourse :-))

So I am happy if you could give me one more hand 😉

And is it possible to just let specific images away?

is your website live? I will be able to see myself. If not,

How are you adding the icons to your site? Using widgets or html or any other method.
I need to know the classes or id attributes for images(icons) so that we can select them specifically.

The above example is general expression. It gives you an idea but it won't work as it is.
