    How can I set my "full-width" to be more narrow? For example, the "full width slim" of the Cook'd theme is what I'd like (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/cookd/). I'd this to be default for my full-width pages, while also being responsive.

    I'm working with the Pretty Creative theme. Thanks!

    i.e., making the right and left margins larger (but also mobile responsive so that on the phone it can be side-to-side). It's just on the computer, it's too wide to read.

    Around Line 661 in your child theme's style.css file, you'll find the following CSS rule:

    .full-width-content .content {
    	width: 100%;
    }

    If you modify the value for the width, it will affect all pages using full width content.

    Another option is to create a custom page template or a custom layout with a custom width you can use on posts and pages.

    thanks! I've played with this before, and it just pushes things over, like a margin.
