    Hi,

    I'm using the metro theme. Is there any way that I can make the "home-top" widget area into full width?

    You can actually add a new full width widget area - use Brian Gardner's Welcome Widget instructions here - http://www.briangardner.com/welcome-text-widget/. This way you can leave everything else in tact.
