    Hi,
I'm using the Genesis Responsive Slider with the Lifestyle Pro theme; I've managed to tweak the CSS to get everything working the way I would like it, except the text for the title and excerpt are not responsive. When the browser window is resized down below around 1100px wide, the text (and its background box) becomes too large for the space and overflows the slider.

I've searched the forums and found many others mentioning this issue, but I haven't found a solution that works.

Is there a way to force the text in the slider to resize so that it always fits within the slider? Otherwise, what's the point of calling the slider responsive?

    Thanks.

Hello, I have the same problem. Responsive slider working well until the screen size is reduced e.g. made smaller on desktop or when viewed on a mobile device. When the screen size is reduced the text area (which I have placed on the left) goes white and I can no longer see the text for the image (however, the image is responsive and does resize correctly on the right side). In the responsive slider settings I have had "Hide Title and Content on Mobile Devices" selected and also not selected, neither makes any difference. I would prefer the slider text area to resize in the same way the image does but if it can't I would like the option to switch it off via the settings and not to be shown at all on a mobile device as the "white area" takes up unnecessary space. I couldn't find a way to upload a screen shot to the forum so you would need to visit the site and then keep reducing your browser window size until you see the effect take place.

    Thanks.

scg. The issue for you is that your png image is 1140px in length but the actual photo you are using is only about 840px wide and aligned to the right.
Thus you don;t notice the white space at desktop screen size as it is covered by the black background and writing. But when it is reduce and the black disappears (as it's suppose to) the non-full size image become visible.

Easy fix. Use a bigger image that stretches 1140px.

Thank you so much Jeremy. I think I have had the photo at every size except the "full" width. I thought whatever size % I made the text area had to be deducted from the photo size - I was over complicating things. I have tested the image at 1140 and the slider settings to "not display on mobile" and everything works fine. I'm just off to update the live site.
Many thanks for your prompt reply in resolving this for me.
