    Hi,

    I would like to display my recent posts as an ordered list. Accordingly, I've added the following CSS:

    .widget_recent_entries ul li {
    list-style-type: decimal;
    }

    The trouble is that the numbers are showing outside of the widget area (i.e. floating to the left of my sidebar). When I add " list-style-position: inside;" to the CSS, it forces the numbers within the sidebar, but it includes the numbers within the list (the numbers indent the text within the list instead of showing aligned to the left with the listed items all aligning on their own).

    How can I get the numbers to stay within the sidebar, but display as they typically do with an ordered list?

    Hi,
    I can't see your context, but usually something like this will work. Add this line to your command above and adjust to taste.

    margin-left: 30px;

    Unfortunately, no luck there. That just moves everything over (the numbers and the text). Maybe a better question would be: Is there a way to assign the recent posts widget to be an ordered list using "ol" instead of "ul"?

    I'm guessing that there's no instant easy way to alter that plugin. You'll most likely need to have a link to your site to get further help.
