Make all sibling element behave like parent – CSS !

There is entry content section (thumbnail blocks of contents), when mouse hover: background and font color changes. Usual CSS only changes text color and not links of title, post meta, post info. Though I can style them individually - but mouse hover any part of entry box should change color and background of all elements including links. Check screenshot below for more clarity:

Many Thanks Sridhar - works like charm. Sometimes even small things can make you pull hair like anything!

Is there way to re-position output of this amplified plugin? I want to change position of post meta and post info.

Current order:
thumbnail image
post title
post info
post excerpts
post meta

What I want:
thumbnail image
post meta
post title
post excerpts
post info

Basically moving post meta and post info.

Looking at http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-widget-amplified/faq/ it is not possible to re-order as far as I know.

It is possible to do what you want w/o using a plugin or easily using a plugin like Views.
