I haven't seen a solution to this problem yet, in the forum for the sixteen nine theme. The left menu drops off the page in certain browsers that don't have the standard up to date resolution and the theme doesn't change with the navigation shifting to the header at the top like it should. It's a real bugger because then the menu (IF TOO LONG) drops off the page in the left side and you cannot access the additional menu items because they flow off the page, out beyond the reach of the browser, and when you go to scroll, you can't retrieve anything out of the menu because it's fixed and remains that way!
Can I ask why Studiopress is selling a buggy theme if it's not working properly? :/ I'm trying to create a non profit event here and this danged thing is bugging the heck out of me. It makes me want to SWEAR, because I've been getting so many complaints of visitors to the website saying they cannot access the bottom part of the menu.
Someone, please help me. I've been trying to solve this for two months. I'm really going to raise this concern with Genesis customer service, because it's frustrating I cannot use a theme that I paid for... Sigh...
http://utahufofest.org/ - is the site that is having issues.
position: fixed; applied to
.site-header in style.css
This will make the header scrollable and users will be able to navigate to all the menu items.
I'm having problems with the mobile version of the sixteen nine pro theme on my site comoguide.com.
On mobile platforms the entire site seems squeezed over to the left and the left navigation menu appears for a second and then disappears. I'm using to http://mobiletest.me to test. The left navigation menu is a custom menu widget on the header right section.
Any idea as to what may be causing this? I tried to disable all plugins and sidebar widgets to no avail.
Thanks for your suggestions!
I am having the same issue as the OP (cowlishaw) with the left menu dropping off the page and unable to be reached. Site is http://ohboy.co/. Specific menu is "Trip Reports". I tried the solution posted by WisdmLabs and it did not work. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I am an idiot. Solution posted by WisdmLabs totally works.
