    Hi,

I'm using a very customized Magazine Pro theme on my site. I've gotten the responsive menu to look just the way I want to. The only problem is that the menu loads at its full, "clicked on" state before shrinking down to the expandable menu. I want the menu to load in its "shrunken" form and only expand once it's been clicked. Anyone know why this is happening and, more importantly, how to fix it? I'd really appreciate your help.

    Thank you,
    Kate

What device and screen size is this happening on? It didn't happen to be when I resized it.

I see it load fully and then shrink down on my iPhone. It does the same thing when the site loads within my desktop browser if I shrink the browser window down to the smallest size, width wise.

I am on a PC. In Firefox, it doesn't do that. On IE and Chrome it does. But it looks like it's doing that right before your header loads - like it's loading other things, then the menu command to reduce and then the header. Let me send out a tweet to see if someone can help you.

Does anyone have clues for me on this issue? It's very distracting on page load and I'd like to fix it. Even if it's just a CSS fix that prevents the menu from loading at full size at first.

I was just reviewing this again. If you look and watch as things are loading - the menu is loading last. Do you have any scripts in the Genesis > Settings > Header box? Some script that would load before the menu?

Thanks again for your help. Yes, I have ad code and tracking codes in my Genesis settings. Do you know of a way to make my menu load first?

No, I don't. But let me send out a Tweet for you.
