    Hi,

    I just purchased Magazine Pro and wanted to know if anyone knew a way to replace the featured image on single posts with a slider. I was thinking of using a combination of custom fields and royal slider. Where there would be a conditional loop to check if the custom field was populated with the royal slider shortcode. If it was then it would replace the featured image with the slider. Right now I am using the code below to enable feature images on single posts. Not sure how this would be accomplished in the Genesis Framework. Thanks for your help.

    /* Code to Display Featured Image on top of the post */
    add_action( 'genesis_before_entry', 'featured_post_image', 8 );
    function featured_post_image() {
      if ( ! is_singular( 'post' ) )  return;
    	the_post_thumbnail('post-image');
    }

    You could do this many ways.

    Hook in the slider directly
    Use a custom field
    Create a widget

    But you would need to create a slideshow for each post manually.

    You might find a plugin which does this as well.
