    I am working on a site for a client using the Magazine Pro Theme and cannot reduce the white space below the header image. I have made the header image full size and the space above it is fine, but below is a good deal of white space. Have played with code and still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

    .header-image .site-header .title-area, .header-image .site-header .widget-area {
    padding: 40px 0;
    }

    There's your 40px padding right there, style.css.

    Thanks Porter. I have gotten rid of the 40px but that only gets rid of the top padding and still a ton of white space for the bottom padding.

    Busy at the moment, be back in an hour or two. But here's your problem:

    "<p class="site-description" itemprop="description">Observations from the midlife empty nest</p>"

    That is HUGE, and empty.

    Ok, very confused and not sure even where to find that to be honest.

    It's a paragraph with the class "site-description". The dimensions are 916x230. I'm not sure what it is, but it appears to be the "site description".

    Not even sure where to find that to edit it. I know I made the header image full size at 960 x 213.

    That was a typo, it is 960x213. So for whatever reason, there are two places of that size on the page, one blank, one the image we see now.

    No worries. Are you looking at my coding, because I coded the Functions.php and also the style sheet with these dimensions. And not sure where there would be blank dimensions still.

    Just looking at the output on the page, the css (so style.css). I would try removing what you added in the functions.php, just to see which (if not both) are removed.

    I'm currently playing games of League of Legends, and keep popping back and forth haha, I'll give it a deeper look when I can.

    Aww, no worries and I think I actually just got it. I played with the site.header widget area height and it worked 🙂

    That seems to have done it - not sure why, but it looks good now 🙂
