    Hello.
I'm using Magazine Pro theme and it seems like it is set-up to use Genesis Featured Posts on the home page, but I would like to use the Genesis Featured Page Widget instead of the Genesis Featured Post Widget in the middle-home area. But the problem I'm having is when you use "featured pages", it stacks them instead of putting them side by side. Here is the website I am referring to: http://demo5.inlpcenter.org/

Is there a way to change the code so this Middle-Home area will put the featured page images side by side?

This is the widget area that I am putting the featured page widgets in:

This is what the featured page images look like on the homepage (images stacked):

This is what I would like the page to look like (images side by side)
If you know how I would need to alter the code to achieve this, please let me know:

You need to modify the CSS and use the classes for the featured page widget.

Inspect the Executive Pro child themes home middle widget area for an example.

    Hi Brad,

I tried comparing the code from the two themes, but haven't been successful yet. I'll keep trying. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my original post.

Or, you can use the code for flexible widgets which is included in new themes.

    Hi
I just figured this out maybe and you probably already did but this is what I did.
Appearances > customize go to widgets home-middle
Just add one widget there and when you edit it, make the number of post to show 2

    thats it

I was adding two widgets and they were stacking on top of each other.

Hi, Sorry for the delay in my response! I'll be working on the site again this week and I will try what you mentioned. I'll let you know if it worked. Thanks so much!
