    I changed the primary nav's background color. The change makes body text scroll through the white header. How do I set the top margin on the body so that body and header content do not overlap? The situation is seen on my dev site: ithacaindy.com.

    Look for this. Increase 70px to your liking:

    #main {
        margin: 18px 0;
        padding-top: 70px;
    }

    The #main descriptor doesn't exist in the Magazine Pro style.css. When I added the block you suggested, there was no change.

    On the .ORG site, in the Style.css - it's line 212.

    The .ORG site is not running Mag Pro yet. Development of Mag Pro is happening at the .COM site. The .com site is where I'm working on the static nav issue.
