I made some changes to the size of my site http://www.consumeronlinereport.com it uses the magazine theme. since I altered the width of the site, it is no longer responsive. I am still working on the other pages and getting the sidebars down to size. my main concern is the homepage not being responsive anymore.

The best way to troubleshoot things like this is to compare your changed files to the same files that come in the original theme zip. You can use an online tool like Diff Checker to compare and tinker with each change to see which one is causing your site to no longer be responsive. More than likely you'll need to adjust the entries at the end of your style.css file that controls mobile, referred to as the media queries.
